Thesis: Californication album redesign
One of my favorite albums ever belongs to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Californication. I love the music and the energy, and of all of the albums that I own that are mostly about something California themed, this one is my favorite. I just didn't like the album artwork. My goal was to do something a bit more lofty this time around (since it was for thesis!) and create the artwork around some themes presented in the title track, "Californication." My first thought was to make the insert the shape of California and the rest of the project went from there.
